The big question. Bigger than ‘Where are we going?’. And yet an unfruitful quest. That only leads you nowhere.
Each one of us is vulnerable. How much, that’s the only relative factor. But we all ARE. The same.
Now how you handle your vulnerabilities, and project it; depends entirely on you as a person.
For years, we’ve heard from the chauvinist’s that women happen to be more vulnerable to external factors. And men, in matters of the heart. It’s just a generalisation, really.
I know women who’re capable of molesting a man in broad daylight. And men who ‘talk’.
So what do you do with your weaknesses? Shove them away, under the carpet; or accept it first, and then talk it out?!
Running away from your something that is a part of you will only leave scars on you. It’ll only ruin whatever little of ‘you’ you have.
And talking of it like it’s your favourite colour will only make you a sadist.
Choose. Something in between, perhaps.
A goldsmith turns gold into an ornament only after it has been melted.
Be the goldsmith, and melt your ego-centric weaknesses. Only to become the perfect ornament.
Else it’ll suck you up one of these days. And we’re all dying, anyway.
Rants. 
What if one prefers the scars and thorns, to ‘perfection’?
Scars only remind you of what you’ve done, and what you’ve been.
Perfection, takes years.
You can have scars, and thorns stuck at the wrong places; and yet aim to be the best you can be. Isn’t that what we all do?
(So, here I start flooding you with comments on your initial ones first !!)
How does the world define SADISM ? Being stuck to certain a certain feel? That makes us all believers and positive thinkers sadist too !
The hypocrites would define everything that they can’t compare or find a solutions of within there senses. These typecasts are perceptions rather than judgement passed by some “intellects” !!

you know when i wrote this one, i was more of a sadomasochist. life was catching up with me, and i was just trying to breathe while understanding my own emotions. 🙂

I am a bit “old fashioned” !!
For me, a writer or thinker is most undiluted when he/she is in the initial stages – not too many comments to influence what you write ! You just write your heart out !
