Love the words and the image is so appropriate. There’s something deeply profound in these “oneness” experiences we have with nature. You describe your experiences so beautifully. Thank you.
That is so full of pain utter surrender to despair. It is a beautiful piece. The illustrations are perfect esp the second there is a light or reflection on the body which like the soul is trying to escape. Have a good day. 🙂
I can experience the poem in two ways- the sense of void as a lacking, a longing, a sense of loss. But I can also experience it as a sense of communion, wholeness, the one- a sense of connection with all, a void where the ego would be.
Love the imagery of looking at the sky and finding a void in oneself. I often wonder if void actually is the loud mute in one’s head or the gibberish which everyone else is adamant to call meaning and bustle of life.
Yes, it must be…
On this if you get a chance read – I am a nobody by Emily Dickinson. Its not exactly on void, but not fitting in and the associated pleasures of the same….

I agree Don with the oneness experiences with nature.
But, i am just an average girl.
🙂
Thank you for the kind words!
Can you see the face in the left corner ?
Barely. Can you?

Reminded me of “Indifference” by Pearl Jam.
Ah! I love the song!!
Hmmm….deep. I adore that void. Beautifully written archie. You at your usual best!
Thanks doc. 🙂
Ah I am glad. 🙂
Archana,
Evocative poetry, as always.

A moving and rich piece of writing.

Just because the sky is blue…
It is. It is
creative introspection. I look at the moon and feel as you do about the sky — face to face interruptions of my emotions.
Ah thanks! 🙂
If void creates a nothingness, what is needed to fill/feel the fullness?
That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out, too.
Very well written.
Thanks Jas! 🙂

I think its actually a combination of both. Right?
Yes, it must be…
