I would like to ask the question, because I see it used so often on here what mkes this a ‘haiku”? Is ther an american form of it the llows for not having the final line bemore in the form of nature imagery or metaphor s it is in Japanese haiku? >KB
There you go! 🙂 This, is a Japanese haiku. And haiku is only Japanese. No Americano! 😀
Thanks Bruce. 🙂
But I thought that even in Japanese haiku the last third should be devoted to some form of nature imagery which resounds though what came before? >KB

Thank you for the Haiku Web site. KB
American Haiku is very much acknowledged as a literary form of its own. You don’t have to be Irish to write a limmerick, now do you? >KB
Haha! No you dont!
I am an Indian, for the record. 😛
